Although it is not a feature, it is possible to replace the default hourly tolls with your own tolls. To do so, you will first need to ensure you can see hidden folders in Windows. Revealing Hidden Files
Replacing the Default Tolls
Once the hidden folders are visible you are ready to proceed with replacing the default tolls.
- First, close eCarillon
- Navigate to the folder: C:\Program Data\eCarillon\Tolls. Here you will find a file for each hour 1toll through 12toll named accordingly and one each for the on the hour, quarter, half, and three-quarter hour Westminster chime.
- To insert your own tolls, remove or delete all of the default tolls from the folder that you wish to replace and insert your equivalent files. Note: your files must be named exactly the same as the ones you are replacing and must also be .mp3. Additionally, once you are done you must still have each file accounted for, that is, you must have a file for each 1toll through 12toll and you must have a 0min, 15min, 30min, and 45min file in the folder.
- Once you have finished and confirmed you met the requirements above, you can relaunch eCarillon.
