This article is meant to help with backing up your data to be restored at a later time.
eCarillon was originally designed to run on a basic computer with little hard drive space. Therefore, it doesn't use a traditional database or make copies of music when imported into the library. When music is "imported" into the library, a shortcut or "target" is recorded to tell eCarillon where the music file is on the hard drive. For example, if you import amazing grace from the location c:\music\amasinggrace.mp3. This location is recorded in the library to reference when needed.
