eCarillon is not capable of controlling your amplifier in any way. It cannot power it on, off, or put it to sleep. As a result, your amplifier will need to remain powered on for the system to work. Rest assured, most modern, solid state amplifiers aren't adversely affected by this and we have far more clients that have computers die of old age rather than amplifiers.
